Gareth Milton Griffiths, founder of Fflam

The presenter behind every session.

Gareth Milton Griffiths is the founder of Fflam. Born and raised in Cardigan (Aberteifi), West Wales, he is a native Welsh speaker — and everything about Fflam reflects that: bilingual delivery here is a first-language choice, not a translation layer.

What schools get.

A presenter who genuinely holds an audience. Content built on evidence. Sessions delivered in both languages without any loss of quality. And a founder who has stood in front of Welsh students every year for over a decade — and cares about every one of them.

Over a decade in Welsh schools. Still making it better.

Trained to perform.

Gareth studied acting at Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance in London, graduating with First Class Honours. He worked extensively in Welsh-language television — Pobol y Cwm (BBC Wales), Caerdydd (lead role, Fiction Factory), Y Pris, Byw Celwydd (AppleTV) and 35 Diwrnod (ITVx) — plus BBC Radio 4, Radio 7 and Radio Wales, and English-language productions including His Dark Materials (BBC Studios) and Da Vinci’s Demons (Starz). That training gave him something most workshop presenters don’t have: a professionally calibrated ability to hold a room, read an audience, and make complex ideas land with confidence and clarity.

Over a decade in schools.

Since 2013, Gareth has delivered hundreds of bilingual workshops across Wales — covering study skills, revision strategy, motivation, resilience, goal-setting and digital literacy. He has worked in Welsh-medium, English-medium and bilingual settings, switching fluently between languages in the room. He is also a qualified CEOP Ambassador, delivering online safety training bilingually to schools, colleges and youth organisations across Wales.

Athro — AI tutoring mascot

Building in Welsh.

In 2023, Gareth founded Athro.ai — the only AI tutoring platform built natively in Welsh — alongside Athro Goals and Athro Careers. His technical involvement in AI development means Fflam’s Digital Learning workshop is built from the inside out, by someone who has designed AI systems at a real technical level.
